Spofforth Golf Course established
in 1994
Spofforth Golf Course was created as a diversification of Manor Farm, which previously operated as a cereal and beef enterprise. The 18-hole, par-72 course spans 6,176 yards and is set within 130 acres of undulating, partly wooded countryside between Harrogate and Wetherby.
Fun round of golf!
The course is in the best shape I remember it ever being in. Good steady front 9 before a more challenging and scenic back 9. Favourite holes are probably the 12th and 13th. Nice little old school driving range. Clubhouse has been tied up and had drinks, pie etc on offer. After speaking to the family and ground staff you can tell they are fully committed to the course and improvements.

Moving in the right direction!
Great to see SGC open again. Played the course on the opening day. The course is looking great. The new owners are really positive in making the course a better experience for all. They are definitely moving in the right direction. Well done and best wishes going forward.

You will not regret it!
Played this morning after not playing Spofforth for over a year. It is obvious the new owners want to turn this into a success. The course was as good as it's ever been if not better. Fairways and rough cut well so you don't need a box of balls per round. Very pleasant round and great to meet some very enthusiastic owners and some familiar faces on the tractors. Well done all, will definitely be returning and I encourage everybody to give this course a chance now, you will not regret it. Thanks
Tony
